Not a completely tragic week but as always. flooded with Monday regret. The Quaddie was a sure thing in Melbourne this week and turned out this way, with one small exception - I didn’t back it. Was talked out of Pompeii Ruler and into Marasco by the nameless quaddie partner (my own fault for sticking with El Segundo, whose trainer was even making excuses during the week).
Expertform was fixed on the Ruler and their arguments are always persuasive, but only a true mug can talk themselves out of easy money like Saturday, so I acted accordingly. The partner who shall remain nameless also was fixed on Flash Trick in the last (which it duly finished!) while I was pretty confident about Recapitalise, but didn’t get out of the blocks on that argument.

So outcome was 2 quaddie’s and 3 legs in each and an easy week’s money gone. Bets were:
